Hannah Cooper completed her Permaculture Design Certificate in 2013 with Milkwood Permaculture, studying under Hannah Moloney in Hobart, further extending her studies into Edible Forest Gardening (Dave Jacke 2010, Milkwood 2012) and Natural Beekeeeping (Tim Malfroy, 2012). She currently coordinates Poatina Permaculture and co-teaches Poatina Permaculture’s Appreciative Inquiry Series. Hannah taught at the 12th Australasian Permaculture Convergence in Penguin in 2015 and at a Tasmanian Permaculture Skill Share, and is active in community permaculture systems and Asset Based Community Development.

Hannah is practicing performing artist with 27 years experience, a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Dance) and a Masters in Visual and Performing Arts (CSU). Her creative passions are collaborative practice informed by dance processes, permaculture and communal sustainability, and nurturing mentoring relationships. She works with her husband and creative partner Steve Cooper as RockSalt Arts, seeking to inspire people to engage with each other and the natural world through performance, workshops, education and mentoring – rocksaltarts.com.
